Error description

  • When Thread/Tap definition is applied to a hole (pocket
    feature) with incorrect diameter, based on the standard,
    recommended diameter is reported in MM when Inches is
    specified as the current Length unit.
    .
    Scenario:
    1. Place an xls thread table into CATIA install \standard
    dir.
    2. Create a simple part
    3. Thread/Tap Command. Specify Lateral Face and Limit Face on
    the hole in part.
    4. Change Type to the specific table
    5. Select a thread.
    ==> the warning message displays to say: "Feature Definition
    Error: ... Value recommended by your standard is 10.5842"
    The recommended value is in MM, regardless of Length unit
    defined in CATSettings. Should report recommended value of
    .4167

    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R21 SP1.

    message in order to take into account the unit of the
