ABSTRACT: 3D Annotation feature is not present in file after Convering to 3dxml by using CATDMUUtility. . SCENARIO 1) Start CATIA V5R20SP4. 2) Open "TEST.CATPart" With 3D Annotation. 3) Select "Tools/ Utility". 4) Select "CATDMUUtility". CATDMUUtility dialog box opens. 5) Set "Input file as "TEST.CATPart" which has 3D Annotation. 6) Set Convert options: "3dxml". 7) Select "Custom" & select any directory and file name for Locate output file. 8) Click "Run". . Result 3D Annotation feature is not present in file after Convering to 3dxml by using CATDMUUtility. . Expected Result After Conversion to 3dxml 3D Annotation feature is should present in the file using CATDMUUtility.

THIS Is A USER ERROR. Additional Closure Information: Incident diagnosis: Abstract: 3D Annotation feature is not present in file after Conversing to 3dxml by using CATDMUUtility. 1.The Save as 3D XML capability in batch mode is not provided. 2.The Save as 3D XML capability is provided by File> Save as... or File> Save Management> Save as... 3.To save 3D annotations in a 3D XML file, select the 3D annotation check box in Tools> Options> General> Compatibility> 3D XML. When the 3D XML has been created from a CATPart document, to display the 3D annotations both in the 3D window and in the specification tree: 1.Create a new CATProduct document. 2.Insert under the root product the 3D XML document (Existing Component command). 3.Be sure that the root product is activated. 4.Switch to the Product Functional Tolerancing & Annotation workbench. 5.Click List Annotation Set Switch On/Switch Off. 6.Click Enable All. 7.Click OK.
