HD99939: EDRAWING VIEWER 2010 CRASHES WHEN VIEWING SOLIDWORKS OBJECTS

Error description

• Scenario:-
  1) Launch Smarteam Editor V5 R20 SP3 with PLMDB database.
  2) Go to search by attribute and search for Solidworks part.
  3) Click on the viewer tab.
  Result ==> eDrawing viewer starts windows installer when
  viewing files in Smarteam and smarteam crashes with an error
  message.
  Expected Result ==> The Solidworks part should be displayed
  in edrawing viewer without error message.

  I-PLM Collaborative Innovation VERSION V5R21 GA level
  Additional Closure Information:
  After the SP is installed, users who selected a viewer in EDR
  must go to ADD/REMOVE programs, choose
  MODIFY option for Editor, and re-select the viewer for
  installation again.
  Only after the MODIFY action is complete, the viewers can be
  used.
