HD99662: ELECTRICAL (EHI) / ELECTRICAL WIRE GROUP NOT UPDATED WHEN CHANGI NG VALUES IN THE XML FILE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• 1) Open the Harness Product.
  2) In Electrical iXF Data Repository choose the folder
  containing xml file
  3) In "Electrical Wire Routing" with "Select External System"
  function use the system xml and put in Current Systems and OK
  4) With "Automatic Wire Routing" function generate wire group
  and wire
  5) Update the whole structure
  6) The wire diameter=10mm and Bend Radius =60mm
  7) Edit manually in local the xml file, put diameter=0.02 and
  Bend Radius = 0.08, save the xml file
  8) With "Select External System" function select the system
  XML and put It back in Available Systems and OK
  9) With "Select External System" function select the system
  XML and put in Current Systems and OK
  10)  With "Automatic Wire Routing" function generate wire
  group and wire
  .
  Problem: The wire group diameter=10mm and Bend Radius =60mm
  (Values not updated)

  12)  Delete the whole wire group with wire
  13)  With "Automatic Wire Routing" function generate wire
  group with wire
  14)  Update the whole structure
  15)  The wire group diameter=20mm and Bend Radius =80mm
