Error description

  • SCENARIO:
    Set up the provided .bat file so that it matches local
    environment,
    Set CATSysForceBatchMode=1 in the .bat (it launches a catvbs
    script),
    Launch the .bat
    During the CATVBS, it opens and closes files correctly, it
    saves the CATPart to a new name correctly.
    But although the VB command CATIA.Quit() is executed, the
    CNEXT process is still running (see this in Task Manager).

    If the same is done with CATSysForceBatchMode= , CNEXT stops
    at the end of the catvbs.

    VERSION V5R21 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R19 SP9.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R20 SP4.
    Additional Closure Information:
    Diagnosis: Batch CNEXT not stopping although VB command
    CATIA.Quit() executed and CATSysForceBatchMode=1
    Reason: Fixed in CATInteractiveApplication::Destroy. Already
    done in CATInteractiveApplication::~CATInteractiveApplication
