ADM user cannot perform tasks (such as create new users or change the account structure) after moving Controller database to new SQL server

Troubleshooting


Problem

Customer moves Controller database from one SQL server to a different (new) SQL server. User launches Controller and logs on as an administrative user (ADM).
User cannot perform expected tasks, for example:
  • Cannot create new users (inside 'Maintain - Rights - Users')
  • Cannot make changes to account structure (inside "Maintain - Account Structure - Define")

Symptom

Inside most menus (for example "Maintain - Users - Rights" and "Maintain - Account Structure - Define") many/most of the configurable options are greyed out.
