APAR status

Error description

  • SETUP:
    a) In Tool/Options/General/Document/Document Environments,
    Set ENOVIA as Allowed.
    b) Connect to VPM Nav and create a new document, then check
    in the .iXFElec file.
    c) Load the attached CATProduct and the catalog file in CATIA
    and save them into Enovia
    .
    SCENARIO:
    1. Go to Tools/Options/Equipments and Systems/Electrical
    Mapping
    2. Search for the catalog stored in Enovia and map it as
    shown in the ppt.
    3. Load the CATProduct, saved at c) from Enovia to CATIA.
    4. Go to Tools/Options/Equipments and Systems/Electrical
    Process Interfacing
    And set Enable External System Interfacing option as Database.
    5. Search for and open the .iXFElec file from ENOVIA and
    close the search window.
    6. Activate the product and go to Electrical Assembly Design.
    7. Click on External Systems command.

    OBSERVATION:
    An Error occurs:
    There are no systems loaded. (Sent by ENOVIA V5 VPM)
    .
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    The Error should not occur and command should display the
    system selection dialog box, with the list of available
    systems.

Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON ENOVIA VERSION V5R21 GA level.
    NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R19 SP8.
