Abstract

This document explains how to view IBM IPLA license agreements for products such as the Tivoli Storage Manager family of products.

The license agreements for the Tivoli Storage Manager family of products, including the products identified in the following list, can be viewed online:

  • Tivoli Storage Manager
  • Tivoli Storage Manager Extended Edition
  • Tivoli Storage Manager Suite for Unified Recovery
  • Tivoli Storage Manager Suite for Unified Recovery Archive Option
  • Tivoli Storage Manager Suite for Unified Recovery ProtecTIER Option
  • Tivoli Storage Manager Suite for Unified Recovery Entry
  • Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases
  • Tivoli Storage Manager for Enterprise Resource Planning
  • Tivoli Storage Manager for Mail
  • Tivoli Storage Manager for Space Management
  • Tivoli Storage Manager for Storage Area Networks
  • Tivoli Storage Manager Virtual Environments
  • Tivoli Storage Manager HSM for Windows
  • Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager

In addition to these products, the license agreement for any IBM product that uses the IPLA agreement can be viewed online.

The following scenario provides instructions that you can use to view a license agreement online. In this scenario, the product is Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases 7.1.

  1. From a web browser, enter the address for the IBM License site: http://www.ibm.com/software/sla/sladb.nsf
  2. From the IBM License site homepage, click Search for a specific program license agreement.
  3. In the search criteria field, enter the product name. For example, Tivoli Storage Manager Databases.
  4. Select the link for IBM Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases V71 5608-E04. For this particular example, the option is toward the bottom of the page.

After the license is selected, the license can be displayed in any of the following languages:
  • English
  • Chinese - Simplified
  • Chinese - Traditional
  • Czech
  • French
  • German
  • Greek
