HD92648: FINAL GATHER PICKS UP CATIA BACKGROUND COLOR WHEN COMPUTING AMBI ENTS NEAR TRANSPARENT GEOMETRY

Error description

• Scenario :
  1. Start CATIA.
  2. Open Tools->Options.
  3. Select General->Display in the options tree.
  4. Select the Visualization tab.
  5. Make sure that your background color is set to a bright
  color (not black, white, or gray)
  6. Open CATProduct
  7. Enter the Photo Studio Workbench (under Infrastructure)
  8. Expand the Applications node.
  9. Expand the Shootings node.
  10. Right-click Shooting 1 and select Render Single Frame.
  11. Observe colored shading (same hue as background color)
  inside and around the smaller partial box.

  Explanation:
  The Final Gather algorithm is behaving incorrectly with
  transparent objects. Rather than seeing through these
  objects, it is instead just using the CATIA background color.
  Expected Behavior:
  The background color should not be reflected after the
  rendering.

  Technical explanation of the defect:
  Final Gather picks up CATIA background color when computing
  ambients near transparent geometry.

  Technical explanation of the correction:
  OptiColor and Background shaders don't handle well
  transparency special cases during final gather preprocessing.
  A new check is added to the shaders for removing the
  background color effect.
