HD91714: STEP IMPORT: STEP FILE IS NOT CORRECTLY IMPORTED IN CATIA V5.

Error description

• SCENARIO:
  A specific stp file is not correctly imported in CATIA V5.
  Some of the surfaces are not displayed correctly.
  The error and report file shows that some of the elements
  like MANIFOLD_SOLID_BREP  and ADVANCED_FACE are not
  transferred.
  Observation:
  Following errors are generated .
  <E> [0002] [T=MANIFOLD_SOLID_BREP] [#2417] Element not
  created.
  <E> [0002] [T=ADVANCED_FACE] [#4985] Element not created.
  This is the problem.
  .
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  STEP file should be opened properly.

  faces on importing STEP file in CATIA

  The STEP files generated by EAI are containing severe errors,
  especially concerning the orientation of edges in the faces.
  to conclude the STEP is not valid
  .
  By-Pass:
  Investigate the STEP file creation (provider EAI to generate
  correct STEP files)
