  1) Start CATIA V5
  2) Create "Drawing".
  2-1) Click "File" / "New" on the menu bar.
  >> "New" dialog box is displayed.
  2-2) Select "Drawing" in the "List of Types".
  2-3) Click "OK" in the "New" dialog box.
  >> "New Drawing" dialog box is displayed.
  2-4) Click "OK" in the "New Drawing" dialog box.
  >> "Drawing1" is created.
  ( Workbench : "Drafting" ).
  3) Create the "circle".
  3-1) Click "Circle" icon.
  3-2) Select the arbitrary position in the sheet.
  >> The center of the circle is determined.
  3-3) Select the arbitrary different position in the sheet.
  >> The circle is created.
  4) Create the "Dimension".
  4-1) Click "Dimensions" icon.
  >> The "Tools Palette" panel is displayed.
  4-2) Select the circle created now.
  4-3) Select the arbitrary position in the sheet.
  >> Dimensions is created.
  5) Insert the text in dimensions.
  5-1) Select "red triangle" of "Insert text before" of
  dimensions.
  >> The "Insert Text Before" panel is displayed.
  5-2) Click "OK" in the "Insert Text Before" panel.
  >> The text "TextBefore 1" is inserted in dimensions.
  6) Move the position of dimensions by dragging.
  7) Click "Undo" icon.
  >>> The moved dimensions return to the original position.
  >>> And the text inserted in dimensions is lost.

Problem conclusion

• THIS PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED ON CATIA VERSION V5R21 GA level.
  NOTE THAT THIS PROBLEM WILL ALSO BE FIXED ON V5R20 SP2.
  Additional Closure Information:
  Technical explanation of the defect:
  Dimension direct manipulations were not logged in UNDO
  history.
  Technical explanation of the correction:
  Dimension direct manipulations (dimension moves, text
  insertion) are now logged as local undo steps.
  This means that as long as Select command is active, it is
  possible to undo/redo local undo steps.
  As soon as another command is started, the local step of
  Select command are merged into a single global undo step
  (standard behavior of command management).
  This problem has been corrected on CATIA V5R20 SP2 and CATIA
  V5R21ga.
