• UG Reference sets are not handled when the reference sets are
  aplied at the Assembly level.

  this topic:
  Have found that recent updates to allow support of
  UG Reference Sets have only concentrated on geometry parts. UG
  assemblies can also use reference sets to control the assembly
  for instance with repect to the applied transformation of a
  .prt file
  For example a joint assembly could use a reference
  set to control if the joint is displayed in its closed or open
  state.
