Problem conclusion

  • THIS PROBLEM IS PERMANENT RESTRICTION IN CATIA
    Additional
    Closure Information:
    Diagnosis:
    Copy paste is not possible
because of the result of the Edge Fillet.
    Indeed even if the
resulting fillets looks good, there are some
    limitations to
    such fillets internally.
    .
    Reason:
    Input body for fillet
operation is non-manifold, i.e. some impacted
    edges are
bounded by more than 2 faces. In this scenario, there are 4
non manifold edges which each are bounded by 4 faces. You
    will notice
that you cannot even select these edges. CATIA
    does not support
    non-manifold input bodies and correct
    results in such configurations
    are not guaranteed.
    Non-manifold configurations are extremely rare
    and almost
always result from an incorrect design.
    .
    By-pass:
    Modify
the fillet input body in order to avoid the non-manifold
    configuration.
    .
