HD87975: CAN NOT SAVE A CATIA V5 OBJECT WITH DRM (DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEM ENT) APPLIED TO IT

Error description

• SCENARIO:
  Log ON to CATIA as administrator, Allow the DRM permissions
  during save (Refer the attached image and allow the DRM
  permissions to a user as it is shown in this image)
  1. Open the Master.CATPart
  2. Turn ON the option "Activate DRM on save"
  3. Go to file menu and Perform "save" (The Master.CATPart will
  be saved with
  DRM encryption)
  4. Once the "save" operation is over, toggle OFF the option
  "Activate DRM on save" and Lock this option in admin mode. So
  that this option will remain OFF for users other than Admin
  5. Now login to CATIA as a user with restricted permissions.
  6. Try to open the data.
  Result A: Data cannot be opened with the error. --> This
  behavior is correct as the data is DRM protected
  6. Again Log in as a Non-Admin user with the DRM permissions
  (As per the image, with same rights as in step 1)
  7. Open the data saved in step 3. (It can be opened
  successfully)
  8. See that the option "Activate DRM on save" is already
  turned OFF. And it is locked.
  9. Go to file menu and click "save"
  Result B: The Master.CATPart will not be saved. An error occurs

Problem summary

  CATIA VERSION V5R19 SP7.
