    Please can you analyse the trouble which is described below:
    Concerned Software..: CATIAV5
    Release.............: R19SP3HF18 and HF25
    Concerned Modulus...: ASD
    Concerned Hardware..: Windows
    Criticity...........: P1
    Description:
    ***************
    Assembly Design : "stop manipulate on clash" has no effect
    when using
    Manipulation
    scenario:
    **********
    1. Open the attached R17 product
    or create a new CATProduct and insert 2 new PART with one
    element/part
    2. activate the Assembly Design workbench
    3. select the "Manipulation" command and set with respect to
    constraints
    4. activate "Stop manipulate on clash" command
    5. drag along Z : you can move Part2 inside Part1: clash is
    not detected
    ==>this is a wrong behavior
    On R17SP4, it works correctly: clash is detected and
    manipulation is
    stopped
    Please, can you investigate on this trouble and deliver a
    corrective

Problem summary

  • ASD: Stop manipulate on clash option does not work
    when using Manipulation command.
    .
    SETTINGS:
    None
    .
    SCENARIO:
    1) Start CATIA.
    2) Open the provided CATProduct or create a new
    CATProduct and insert two new parts with one element per part.
    3) Go to Assembly Design workbench.
    4) Select Manipulation command and select the with
    respect to constraints checkbox.
    5) Activate Stop manipulate on clash command.
    6) Select Drag along Z option.
    .
    OBSERVATION:
    One Part can be moved inside other Part. Clash is not
    detected.
    .
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    Stop manipulate on clash option should work correctly
    so that clash is correctly detected.
    .

    THIS PROBLEM IS NOT REPRODUCIBLE ON :
    VERSION V5R20 GA level
    VERSION V5R19 SP6.

    INCIDENT DIAGNOSIS:
    Stop manipulate on clash option does not work when
    using Manipulation command.

    EXPLANATION:
    The problem is not reproduced on above mentioned
    levels. The Stop manipulate on clash option works correctly.
