Question

What are the some important benchmarks for Tivoli Productivity Center for Replication on system z version 5.2?

Cause

TPC-R on system z has been available for several years now and was installed as a WebSphere Application Server application. Starting with TPC-R 5.2, the product is installed as an application in WAS Liberty Profile. IBM and customers expect CPU cost reductions and less complex installation.

IBM STG & Software Group asked IBM Montpellier PSSC to engage a Benchmark demonstrating the performance and scalability of the TPC-R 5.2 solution on z/OS compared to TPC-R 5.1.
