Problem
User launches a Standard Report. User receives an error message.
Symptom
Reports - Currency and Historical Rates (Preview)
IBM Cognos software
RSV-SRV-0085
Could not find package capabilities associated with report model "/content/package[@name='Controller'/model[@name='2005-08-12T07:48:26.7042']".
After clicking OK, the user is presented with a screen which is similar to Cognos Connection (http://servername/ibmcognos):
Notice how there is *not* an entry called "Controller". This is different from the correct/expected view of a good/working system, where there is a blue entry called "Controller" which exists:
