Error description
HATS BIDI - Cursor not advancing for Arabic field in Web Facing For a WebFacing English user (e.g. CCSID=37), when the user is typing text, ,the cursor automatically tabs to the next field (when it reaches the end of the field). This is similar behavior in 5250 Emulator. However, for a WebFacing Arabic user (e.g. CCSID=420), the cursor does not automatically tab to the the next field.
Local fix
Problem summary
Caret position is calculated incorrectly
Problem conclusion
Bidi session uses different mechanism to calculate the caret position, and the value is stored in different variable. However method used in autotabbing code used the variable for "textarea" element only and did not use it for "input". Another issue is that some input fields are not Bidi-supported even for Bidi client (for example numeric fields). Therefore varable wfInfoDB[t.formId].hostJobIsBiDi can not always be used to recognize the Bidi client. Used (t.style.unicodeBidi == "bidi-override") instead.
Temporary fix
