APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• TSM client on UNIX platforms could crash when common
  inventory technology creates output file citScanOutput.xml.
  This issue takes place when common inventory technology
  is used and DSM_LOG is set and the length of DSM_LOG path is
  more than the length of DSM_DIR path.
  

Local fix

• Do not use common inventory technology or set DSM_LOG that the
  length of DSM_LOG path was less than the length of DSM_DIR
  directory.
