IC95926: CD SERVER ADAPTER DOES NOT WORK AFTER INSTALLING STERLING B2B INTEGRATOR V5.2.4, FIX PACK 1

APAR status

Error description

  • When you install Sterling B2B Integrator V5.2.4, Fix Pack 1,
it fails to remove an obsolete CDJava.jar file, which causes
issues with the Connect Direct Server adapter upin starting
Sterling B2b Integrator after installing the fixd pack.

Local fix

  • Remove the reference to the obsolete CDJava.jar file from
dynamicclasspath.cfg and rename the obsolete CDJava.jar on the
file system.

After upgrading from an interim fix to V5.2.4, Fix Pack 1
Connect:Direct Server adapter will not start.

Resolution Summary:
The Interim Fix installation process was not aware of other
versions of the CDJava third-party jar the might have been
installed as a result of a previous Interim Fix.
Code fix applied that identifies and removes previous
or obsoleted versions of the CDJava.jar before installing the
new version.
