Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users using PCOMM FTP Client * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Supporting 5 digit port numbers in * * FTP Client * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** PCOMM FTP Client was not able to accept port numbers more than 4 digits. Also in Config Panel of PCOMM FTP Client the port number text field was not big enough to display 5 digts.
Problem conclusion
Limitation of maximum of 4 digits has been removed and now PCOMM FTP Client can support up to a maximum of 5 digit port numbers for both SSL and non SSL connections. Maximum value can be 65535. pcsFTPlib.dll and pcsFTP.dll have been changed to add this new function. Fix scheduled for PCOM 6.0.5 Refresh Pack
