Error description
It is possible for sessions on the server that are for Monitoring and Reporting sessions to report that the session has been severed by the client. There is no network issue that can be seen to cause this disconnect. This will occur when the select being issued from the monitoring agent does not return any information. In this case, the agent does not close the session correctly. This causes the session to become severed. This can be ignored. Tivoli Storage Manager Versions Affected: 6.1, 6.2 Customer/L2 Diagnostics: The following series of messages will be seen in the Tivoli Storage Manager activity log. ANR0407I Session 17154 started for administrator XXXXXX (DSMAPI) (Tcp/Ip YYY.YYY.YYY.YYY(3830)). (SESSION: 17154) ANR2017I Administrator XXXXXX issued command: select ..... (SESSION: 17154) ANR2034E SELECT: No match found using this criteria. (SESSION: 17154) ANR0568W Session 17154 for admin REPORT (DSMAPI) terminated - connection with client severed.
