IC68027: TPC GUI HANGS AFTER CLICKING ON ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES - SERVICES - REPLICATION SERVER, THEN OPENING MORE GUI PANELS

4.2.1 Interim Fix 1 (November 2011) for Tivoli Storage Productivity Center

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• On clicking  replication manager node under Administrative
  services in TPC GUI and Opening more panels(like creating a
  probe definition but don't save, open several reports etc)
  in TPC GUI.Hangs TPC GUI.
  if TPC GUI is closed and we tried to login to TPC GUI,
  following error comes
  
  GEN0329E::Failed to authenticate the user <null>
  

Local fix

• As a temporary workaround, users can manually stop and
  re-start the TPC Data and Device server processes.

  This APAR resolves the code defect responsible for the GUI hang
