Troubleshooting
Problem
Attempts to use the Rational Publishing Engine(RPE) templates provided with IBM Rational DOORS when exporting to Portable Document Format(PDF) documents results in missing Heading Numbers.
Symptom
Try the following to reproduce the problem:
Produce a PDF Document:
- Select File > Export > Document Generation > PDF
- This creates a filename with the .pdf extension.
- When you view this document the Heading numbers are missing
Produce an MS Word document:
- Select File > Export > Document Generation > Word
- This creates a filename with a .doc extension
- When you view this document the Heading Numbers are displayed.
