  C84 Controller, 783 terminal
  Terminal 31 load fails at W065 Preload Failure B5/S250/E255.
  I have deleted and rebuilt all preload bundles and rebuilt
  loadshrink without success.

Local fix

Problem summary

• Access the HOSTS file with the gethostent()
  which uses the inet_addr() and causes a Stack fault
  if an IP address entry has an extra period.
  

Problem conclusion

• Change the validation that keeps track of the number
  of periods in the string to avoid writing outside the
  array to prevent stack fault.
  

Temporary fix

• Correct the error in the HOSTS file.
