Error description
CM is configured for SSO (so users do not have to enter a password when they log into CM or DM). When they have "require user authentication" enabled for a transition the user is getting an error message when they enter a password in the password field. If a user priv contains AllowTrustedLogon then the Transtion - Authentication dialog should grey out the password.
Local fix
Problem summary
In single sign-on configurations, DB2 Document Manager sometimes requested a password before transitioning a document If DB2 Document Manager was configured for single sign-on and the Require user authentication option was enabled for a transition, the Desktop prompted you to enter your password before transitioning a document. With the fix of this APAR, in single sign-on configurations the Desktop passes the first authentication and does not prompt for your password during transitions.
Problem conclusion
The fix is available in DB2 Document Manager v8.3 Fix Pack 12.
