IO10330: RENDITION SERVICE IS TRUNCATING SUBMIT COMMAND AT 318 CHARACTERS.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Rendition Service is truncating command at 318 characters.
  Customer is using an Options file to kick off a Java
  application.  Because of this the submit command is very long
  and gets truncated.
  
  If the customer takes the same command,  pastes it into a
  command window and completes the command it renders just fine,
  so it does not appear to be a OS limitation.

Local fix

Problem summary

• Rendition Services truncated commands that were longer than
  512 characters
  
  With the fix of this APAR, Rendition Services now supports
  2048 command-line characters.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix is available in DB2 Document Manager v8.3 Fix Pack 12.
