IO06343: PRINT ON DEMAND DOES THEN VOID ENTER GIVES ANOTHER PRINT ON DEMAND

Error description

  • The customer sold an item.
Entered print on demand (15 sign on) key sequence
Instead of an error or a void of the previously sold item, the
print on demand printed again.

Problem summary

  • After keying 15<SIGNON> to demand-print a partial receipt,
keying <VOID><ENTER> causes another partial receipt to be
printed.

Problem conclusion

  • <VOID><ENTER> is intended to cancel the sale of the previous
item.  Insufficient examination of the previous keying sequence
caused the demand print routine to be re-entered.  The new
guidance provided for the <VOID><ENTER> in this set of recreate
steps is B003 ENTRY ERROR PRESS CLEAR.
