Cannot log into DOORS after resetting Local RDS user's password in RDA

Troubleshooting


Problem

After a local IBM Rational Directory Server user account password expired, it was reset using Rational Directory Administrator (RDA), and the operation appeared to succeed. However, the user cannot log into DOORS because the password is still expired.

Symptom

The user having this problem will get the following error when trying to log into IBM Rational DOORS:

The password for user '<USER_NAME>' has expired, and cannot be changed --- Please contact your database manager.
