IJ21994: ATTRIBUTE TITLE CHANGES REQUIRING RESTART

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In testing 7.6.1.1 and have noticed that when we change the
  title of an attribute in Database Configuration and apply the
  change the new title isn't being utilized in any of the
  applications until the server is restarted. We don't change
  titles too often, but requiring an outage for a non-structural
  change isn't ideal. This worked in previous versions.
  
  Steps to
  reproduce in a demo environment:
  1) Go to the Database
  Configuration application
  2) Open the ASSET object.
  3) Change
  the title for the ASSETNUM attribute to Equipment
  4) Go to the
  List View of Database Configuration and Apply Configuration
  Changes (NOTE: do not put into admin mode as it is not required
  for this change)
  5) Once the DB Config completes successfully
  go to the Asset Application.
  6) Notice that the label for
  ASSETNUM is still Asset.
  
  This label could be overridden in
  Application Designer but isn't. If you open it in Application
  Designer you can see the default label is still Asset.
