Error description

  • For certain Weblogic instances, product name and product
version are not set as shallow details are loaded from XML
config file. So, if XML has these fields missing, these values
    aren't set.
For weblogic discovery, in order to control the
shallow details , a boolean collation property has been
    introduced.
If the property is set to false then shallow
details are not stored in the result of the sensor and if set
to true, then shallow details are stored.

    For Weblogic
    Launcher Sensor,
to stop the shallow details to store in the db
    , configure com.ibm.cdb.discover.app.j2ee.weblogic.sensor.Weblog
    icLauncher.storeShallow to false
    For Weblogic Application
    Senor,
to stop the shallow details to store in the db,
    configure com.ibm.cdb.discover.app.j2ee.weblogic.sensor.Weblogic
    Application.storeShallow to false

Problem summary

  • For certain Weblogic instances, product name and product
version are not set as shallow details are loaded from XML
config file. So, if XML has these fields missing, these values
    aren't set.
For weblogic discovery, in order to control the shallow details
, a boolean collation property has been introduced. If the
property is set to true then shallow details are not stored in
the result of the sensor and if set to false(which is the
default value), then shallow details are stored.
    Collation is
    com.ibm.cdb.discover.app.j2ee.weblogic.sensor.skipShallow
Possible values are true and false . Default
    value is false.
If you want to stop storing shallow details of weblogic, then
    set it as
    com.ibm.cdb.discover.app.j2ee.weblogic.sensor.skipShallow=true
