Error description

  • When the user time zone is different from the applicaiton server
time zone the perform critical path method button in the
graphical scheduling application will not work.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

First step is to set a time zone on the user profile that is
different than the time zone for the application server. Once
that has been done, log out, back in and then follow steps
    below.

    1. Create a work order, add a target start date and end date and
     a duration value.

    2. On the plans tab add 4 task, for task 20, add task 10 as it's
predecessor, for task 30 make 20 it's predecessor and for task
40 make sure to list task 10, 20 and 30 as it's predecessor.

    3. Create a new scheduler record and add the work order created
earlier, add the shift and calendar as needed and save.

    4. Move the graphical view tab, move the first task to a date
that is later then the last task. Since the last task has the
first as a predecessor once we press the cpm button the last
task should be moved to a date later than the new date for task
    10, that does not happen.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:

That the perform critical path button would have provided new
dates for all the work scheduled as the date of the predecessor
    was moved.

    Reported in Version:

Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.0 with Maximo Asset
    Management Scheduler 7.6.7.1
