Importing an ITNM domain fails with in "Error getting WsnNameService properties".

Troubleshooting


Problem

When attempting to import an ITNM domain into ITNCM, the UOW fails with an "Error getting WsnNameService properties" error.

Symptom

When attempting to import an ITNM domain into ITNCM the following is seen in the UOW:

(15) Using driver: ibm_tivoli_networkmanager_3.x_v15.00 (Isd0000104726)
(16) Operation failed with failure category [Driver]
(17) [Caused by: Could not instantiate comms driver: Failed to obtain ITNM Topology API instance: getInstance : Error trying to intantiate API for ITNMTipHost : 192.168.0.122RMIPort : 16312User : itnmadminPassword : Vivitr0n : The error cause is : ERROR: lookup on intitial context failed : Cause : Error getting WsnNameService properties (OperationFailedException)]
