APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • We used to receive a pop-up warning message to let us know that
a new task would be added to the WO because the new one being
created through the CU Estimation did not exist on the WO yet.
We are no longer receiving this pop-up warning message.

Steps to re-create:

1. CU Estimating Option is set to Create Tasks by Type.

2. Create a MX WO. Maximo Task exists for Field Metering.

3. Create CU Estimate Request, Add CUs (make sure to include a
CU that has a Task type for Construct or Street Lighting),
Perform Estimation.

4. Estimate is Successful.

Problem conclusion

  • Changed the estimation process so that the warnings will be
displayed when needed.
