IJ16235: CANNOT REMOVE A COMPATIBLE UNIT AND ADD IT BACK ON A CU ESTIMATE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Pre-requisite steps:
  1. Go to CU Library (T&D).
  2. click insert new record, CU=TESTCUT1, Description= Test
  CU(parent), CU Level=2, Unit of MEasure=FEET
  3. Place check in check-boxes Expandable? and Auto Expand?
  4. Save the record.
  5. Change Status=ACTIVE
  6. Click insert new record, CU=TESTCUT2, Description= Test CU2,
  CU Level=1, Unit of Measure=FEET
  7. Save the record.
  8. Change Status=ACTIVE
  9. Recall CU record TESTCU1
  10. Under Child CU sub-tab click New Row button CU=TESTCU2,
  Work Function=I, Voltage=115
  Hot/Cold=C, Inaccessible?=Y, Soil Condition=GOOD
  11. Save the record.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Go to CU Estimating (T&D)
  2. Create an Estimate, insert new record.
  3. Scroll down to Version subtab and click New Row, Work
  Group=select_value, Storeroom=CENTRAL
  4. Click on Stations tab, Station Sub-tab, click New Row,
  Station=1
  5. Click On Compatible Units sub-tab, Station=1, Station CU
  Name=TESTCU1, Work Function=I, Quantity=5, Voltage=115,
  Hot/Cold=C,
  Inaccessible?=Y, Soil Condition=GOOD
  6. Click Save. No error. Now delete the Compatible unit for
  Version 1 using the trash icon.
  7. Save the record.
  8. Add the same CU with the same details.
  9. Save the record.
  
  ACTUAL RESULT:
   System Message thrown:
  BMXAP0264E - There are no children with matching filters for
  this CU.
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  The record should be saved.
  
  REPORTED IN VERSION:
  Maximo for Utilities 7.6.0.1
