Error description

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

Creating a Graphical Scheduling record for PM, the 'Duration'
column on 'Graphical View' tab is shown as '0:00' and the
'Duration' field on associated Job Plan is not 0.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

    (1) Go to PM application, create a new record 'PMTEST' and fill
in all the compulsory fields and select 'JP1000' as the Job
    Plan.
(Duration of JP1000 is defined as 5 hours)

    (2) Go to 'Frequency' tab
    Frequency: 5
    Frequency Unit : DAYS
Estimated Next Due Date : 15/11/2018
Target Started Time : 7:00 AM

    (3) Click 'Generate Forecast' action, put date '12/14/18' in
'Forecast Until' field then click 'OK'.
    Confirm forecast records are generated.

    (4) Go to 'Graphical Scheduling' application, create a new
    record.

    (5) Fill in all the compulsory fields like Calendar, Shifts.
In 'Work Queries' section, click 'New Row' then select 'PM' as
the data source and put 'pmnum = 'PMTEST' as the 'Where
    Condition'

    (6) Save the record, then click 'Graphical View' tab, the
segment bar in blue appears to be covering 5 hours in length.

    RESULTS:

The 'Duration' column for the PM record is shown as '0:00'
    which is incorrect.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:

PM could have multiple Job Plan records and each Job Plan could
have different values in 'Duration' field. 'Duration' column for
PM activity based table view should be blanked out in this case.

    REPORTED IN VERSION:

    Maximo Asset Management Scheduler 7.6.7.1
