IJ11981: BMXAA0024E - THE ACTION DELETE IS NOT ALLOWED ON OBJECT JOBTOOL

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After adding a crew type that has a crew tool on it and a
  revision is made, you are unable to delete the tool that has
  been added to the job plan.
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. In the tools application create a new tool and check both
  the rotating and crew field add it to a storeroom. Change the
  status to active and make sure to check organizations box.
  2. In the Crew Types application, create a new crew.  Under
  the required tools, add a new row and add the tool created
  earlier.  Make sure it is active.
  3. In the Job Plans application create a new job plan and add
  the organization.  On the Labor tab add the crewtype created
  earlier.  Check the tools tab and you should see the associated
  tool to the crewtype.
  4. Change the status to active.
  5. Create a revision of the job plan and delete the labor from
  the job plan.  This works.  Now try to delete the tool.  The
  following error is displayed:
  BMXAA0024E - The action DELETE is not allowed on object
  JOBTOOL. Verify the business rules for the object and define
  the appropriate action for the object. More information.
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  The tool should have been deleted.

Problem conclusion

• Copy the new job labor id reference to the new job tool to keep
  everything in sync so that deletion of the job tool works.
