Troubleshooting
Problem
The Guardium Installation Manager (GIM) client installer returns a VENDOR_VERSION mismatch error before failing.
Symptom
The following error message is returned by the GIM client installer:
Installing modules ....
Installation failed
-E- VENDOR_VERSION mismatch (required=4 received=4) at ./gim_installer line 899.
Please note that the following values may differ depending on the version of your operating system and the installer used.
