Steps: Go to Sets Add row: Set: TEST Type: ITEM Add row: Set: COMPTEST Type: COMPANY Save Go to Organizations and add new organization Organization: TESTORG Base Currency 1: USD Item Set: TEST Company Set: COMPTEST Save Go to Chart of Accounts > Highlight TESTORG by clicking the row More Actions > Validation Options > Uncheck ?Validate Financial Periods? More Actions > GL Component Maintenance Click Cost Center > New Row GL Component Value: 6000 Description: Test Cost Center Component Click Activity > New Row GL Component Value: 200 Description: Test Activity Component Click Resource > New Row GL Component Value: 000 Description: Test Resource Component Click OK In the main view, add a new GL Account for TESTORG by clicking New Row GL Account: 6000-200-000 Save Go to Organizations and bring up TESTORG Add Clearing Account: 6000-200-000 Check Active Go to Sites Tab > New Row Site: TESTSITE Save. Go to Default Information and change the Default Insert Site to TESTSITE Go to Storerooms and create a new storeroom Location: TESTSTORE Save Go to Item Master and add a new item Item: TESTITEM Order Unit: EACH Issue Unit: EACH More Actions > Add Items to Storeroom > Choose TESTSTORE Accept all default in "Add Items to Storeroom" dialog and click OK Change Status to Active. Make sure to check ?Roll New Status to Organizations and Inventory? Go to Inventory and open the record for TESTITEM Add a new Inventory Balances row Current Balance: 40 Physical Count: 40 Save Go to Inventory > Inventory Usage and create a new usage From Storeroom: TESTSTORE Usage Type: MIXED Status: ENTERED In the Usage Lines section, click New Row Usage Type: Issue Item: TESTITEM Quantity: 1 Issue To: WILSON GL Debit Account: 6000-200-000 Save. Change Status to Complete Select OK in Change Status dialog and the dialog closes Check the status. The status is still ENTERED, not COMP as you?d expect. In the logs, there is a null pointer error originating from InvUse.validateFinancialPeriods INCORRECT RESULT: The inventory usage record remains in the ENTERED status even after attempting to change the status to COMP EXPECTED RESULT: The inventory usage record status changes to COMP when the status change dialog box is closed.
