Metadata Asset Manager shows error during import, but continues to run

Troubleshooting


Problem

When you import by using InfoSphere Metadata Asset Manager, a generic error message, with no additional details, might display in the import wizard window, but the import continues to run until completion with no further status updates.

Symptom

The following error message might appear during a long-running import:

An error occurred in the import operation.
