Problem
A feature was added in IBM® Cognos® TM1® 10.1.1 to permit Attached Documents to be added to Commentary entered against a Cognos TM1 Application from the Application's workflow page. If the attachment is greater than 32 kb in size, it may become corrupted when uploaded; if the attachment is subsequently downloaded it may not open correctly.
Symptom
If an attached document greater than 32 kb in size is downloaded after having initially been uploaded as an item of Commentary, the document may become corrupted and may not open correctly in the relevant client application. For example, a spreadsheet or presentation may be downloaded correctly but would not then open successfully in an application such as Microsoft® Excel or Lotus® Symphony.
