APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Storage Insights may contain an invalid country code due to an
    error in smartcare.
    Opening a ticket will fail.
    In /opt/IBM/TPC/web/log/traceWebServer_0.log there are errors
    like:
    2019-10-31 03:04:39.731-0500 [pool-896-thread-27]
    [DeviceInventoryDetails.getInvDevice] [ERROR]
    java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "G05"
          at
    java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString(NumberFormatExcep
    tion.java:76)
          at java.lang.Integer.parseInt(Integer.java:592)
          at java.lang.Short.parseShort(Short.java:129)
          at java.lang.Short.valueOf(Short.java:185)
    
    In the example above, the country code should be 805.
    
    Storage Insights should still present the dialog box to user and
    allow selection of the correct country.
