Error description

• AIX server running IBM Spectrum Protect 8.1.8.0 or newer can
  crash when the command SHOW THREADS is issued.
  This problem is especially noticeable when gathering data with
  servermon, either through the script servermon.pl or the always
  on servermon.
  A server crash can happen if the SHOW THREADS command is issued
  while the server is performing tasks such as writing to a cloud
  container pool, OC operations, client deployment, etc.

Local fix

• Do not run SHOW THREADS command anywhere, including:
  1. Manually running the command.
  2. In the servermon.pl script. Disable SHOW THREADS before
  running this script. If SHOW THREADS is needed to diagnose
  another server problem, discuss with the support engineer on the
  best action plan.
  3. Always-on servermon function. Disable the always-on servermon
  by running this command:
  setopt alwaysonservermon no
