APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Status and Condition are shown as Normal for Flash devices
although devices can't be connected to anymore.
If running a manual test connection then IBM Spectrum Control
shows "Unknown" as status as well as condition.

There is some inconsistency when IBM Spectrum Control are not
able to connect to the subsystem.
If the subsystem is added in IBM Spectrum Control and probed
correct but then cannot connect to, it don't get the status
    updated by the probe.
A try to test the connection than puts the subsystem to unknown.
The probe should to the same to reflect that the subsystem is
    not reachable.
