IT26629: HACP EE NOT HANDLING INPUT DATA CORRECTLY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When running HACP EE v1.4.  When data is entered on an input
  screen
   without  leading zeros, the host application says the data is
  not
   valid. When leading zeros are included it works OK.  With
  PComm, we
   also do not need to include the leading zeros.
   Enter does not work on a FLDExit field.
  

Local fix

• Hit CTRL + Enter in the Fldexit screen.
  

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

• This issue was happening because  the input data length is less
  than the input field size.
  HACP EE  is appending spaces for remaining length of data
  
  The inbound data was malformed with spaces filled in the place
  where additional zeroes (0) were expected. Code changes have
  been made to correct the inbound data.
  
  Fix scheduled for HACP EE  1.6
