Error description

• When attempting to perform a file level restore in the IBM
  Spectrum Protect Plus
  user interface, files over 4 GB may show an incorrect size.
  Example:
  File cataloging is enabled on VM1. VM1 contains a file,
  myfile.txt, that is 4.1GB.
  After a successful backup with file cataloging, a search is
  performed for myfile.txt.
  The user interface shows myfile.txt as 1.3gb as an example.
  Selecting and restoring the file does restore the file and the
  file size on disk is correct.

Problem conclusion

• IBM Spectrum Protect Plus has been updated to support larger
  data types which enables support for file sizes greater than
  4 Giga Bytes (2 32). As a result, when viewing the file size
  within the GUI's file search panel, the correct size will be
  diplayed.
