Error description

• With PCOM 6.0.10 level, the APPEND Transfer Type would allow
  the user to add data to a PC text file. With PCOM 12.0.2 level,
  this option no longer works. The PC text file is replaced each
  time a new file is downloaded.

  * When using £IND$FILE   transfer of file from Host to PC,  *
  * the PC file always gets overwritten when transfer type is    *
  * set to append.                                               *

  Steps to recreate the problem:
    1) Open a PCOMM emulator session and connect to 3270 Host
    2) Select £Receive File From Host   from Actions menu
    3) Browse for Host File name and PC File name
    4) Select the £Transfer Type   to be append and click Add to
  list
    5) Click Ok
  Appending fails and the existing file in the PC will be
  overwritten.
  

Problem conclusion

• While receiving a file from Host to PC, a new file gets created
  irrespective of the Transfer Type selected resulting in the
  existing file contents getting lost.
  PCSXFER.DLL has been changed. If the PC file already exists and
  if the £Transfer type   is append, a new file will not be
  created and appending will be performed.
  Fix is scheduled for PCOM 12.0.4.0 Refresh Pack and 13.0.1.1
  Fix Pack.
