APAR status

• Closed as unreproducible.

Error description

• An alert condition may be corrupted during a Spectrum Control
  upgrade. Then, it may prevent the display of the alert
  condition panel in Spectrum Control Web-GUI.
  
  The UI panel remained in "loading" and cannot be displayed, Then
  it's not possible to display, edit or create new alert
  definitions.

  * Control upgrades while having alert conditions configured    *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  * This is a rare problem and could not be reproduced.          *

  * The problem occurs sometime in the series of upgrades        *
  * from an older TPC 5.2.2 to recently Spectrum Control         *
  * 5.2.14+ and affects a Performance Monitor alert condition    *
  * with warning and critical threshold values.                  *
  *                                                              *
  * After the Spectrum Control upgrade, the user cannot open     *
  * alert definition panel for DS8000 Ports category, in the     *
  * Performance subcategory panel because of the incorrect       *
  * linked alerts after the migration.                           *

  * The GUI panel remains in "loading" and cannot display, or    *
  * edit the existing alert definitions in the Port category.    *
