Problem
I am trying to delete an entry from the routing table, but I receive the following error: % Subnet Route Removal failed, error: Subnet route not found
Symptom
I am trying to delete an entry from the routing table as in this example:
| Destination | Device Interface Type | Device Interface Name | Gateway | Metric | Route Type | Route Protocol |
| 0.0.0.0/0 | Ethernet | eth0 | 1.2.3.4 | 0 | Remote | Management |
| 1.2.3.0/24 | Ethernet | eth0 | 0.0.0.0 | 0 | Local | Local |
Using the following command:
XI50(config-if[eth0])# no ip route 1.2.3.0/24 0.0.0.0 0
But I receive the following error:
% Subnet Route Removal failed, error: Subnet route not found
