• Closed as program error.

Error description

• This issue is caused by a race condition between the Virtual
  Machine (VM) query job and the VM deploy where sometimes the VM
  query job will store the VM right after its created which will
  cause any attempts to attach block disks to fail.
  When deploying a pattern with single node in it with 5
  additional disks, addition of 4th disk fails with message:
  
  Disk Add-On failed for virtual machine
  ORA12c_LINUX_RH7.11499333962086:java.util.concurrent.ExecutionEx
  ception: com.ibm.iaas.api.client.
  exception.MaestroRestException: CWZIP1962E The requested
  operation cannot be accomplished because the state of the
  resource is not compatible with the operation.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• This issue is caused by a race condition between the Virtual
  Machine (VM) query job and the VM deploy.
  

Problem conclusion

• A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System and
  BlueMix Local System version 2.2.3.2.
